Blixt and celduc® relais sign commercial agreement to advance switchgear in industrial machinery

Blixt and celduc® relais have announced the signing of a commercial agreement to bring next-generation switchgear to the machine builder segment, marking a significant step forward in industrial electrical systems.

Through this partnership, industrial machinery is set to move beyond traditional solid-state relays toward advanced solid-state switchgear with integrated protection, monitoring, and control capabilities. This evolution is expected to deliver key benefits, including enhanced protection, lower energy consumption, increased system availability, and predictive maintenance enabled by real-time diagnostics and data analytics.

The agreement establishes a structured commercial ramp-up, including initial product orders and a clear pathway toward volume scaling. celduc® relais sees strong potential for adoption over time, supported by a joint cost-reduction roadmap and a defined go-to-market model leveraging celduc’s global sales network.

By combining celduc® relais’ deep application expertise and global industrial footprint with Blixt’s intelligent hardware and software solutions, the companies aim to deliver interconnected intelligent systems and system-level intelligence rather than standalone components.

“Together, we are moving beyond individual products to deliver integrated, intelligent systems that bring real value to machine builders,” said Daniel Öhlander, CCO at Blixt.

The collaboration has already reached an important milestone, with the first joint installation now live at a celduc® relais facility in Sorbiers, France. The deployment focuses on protecting and monitoring a critical machine cooling system, enabling real-time energy monitoring and early fault detection. This installation serves as a proof point for the value of intelligent solid-state switchgear in an industrial environment.

“This is an exciting step toward smarter, more efficient, and more resilient machines,” said Marwan Elrayes, MD of celduc® relais. “Together we are laying the foundation for Industry 5.0 and beyond: a human centric, resilient, and sustainable manufacturing future built on advanced technology integration.”

The partnership underscores both companies’ commitment to driving innovation in industrial automation and supporting the transition toward more sustainable and intelligent machinery.
